Shae Harris

Shae Harris is a Vice-President for Public Engagement at JPMorganChase, where she leads strategic engagement among consumer, business and nonprofit leaders while promoting community-centered solutions to address persistent drivers of economic inequality. She manages a philanthropic portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic including: Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Ms. Harris strongly believes that systemic change happens through authentic relationships and innovative policy solutions which prompted her to obtain her Master of Public Administration from American University. She also holds Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Carolina A&T State University, received a Nonprofit Executive Management Certificate, and Project Management Certification both from Georgetown University.

Shae previously served in several leadership roles in D.C Government where she led cross-functional projects across District government while providing strategic consultation on policies related to equity and economic development. Prior to her tenure in government, she served in various capacities in the nonprofit sector where her efforts were dedicated to transforming the lives of the District’s most underserved residents. She currently volunteers her time with four boards, and has a wealth of experience from working to improve the lives of intentionally marginalized populations.
