CAAB sponsors seminars and workshops on a wide range of financial topics such as setting financial goals, developing and managing a spending plan, choosing financial products and services, understanding credit, managing debt, saving for college, understanding the basics of investing, and saving for retirement.

Debt Reduction and Credit Counseling

Consumer debt is most often what keeps people from getting ahead financially. CAAB partners with Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Greater Washington and local housing counseling agencies to educate individuals about issues related to credit and to connect them with one-on-one credit counseling services to give them the tools and skills they need to eliminate debt and improve their credit rating.
