DC tax campaign geared up for last-minute tax filers to get refunds through free tax preparation sites

Low income workers within the District need to know that it's not too late to get the tax credits that are due to them. According to Colleen Dailey, Executive Director of Capital Area Asset Building Corporation (CAAB) and Director of the DC EITC Campaign, "Taxpayers should know that even if they aren't required to file a tax return, they might be due a refund, and the only way to find that out is by completing their federal and state tax forms. That's why we're here to help."
